Just wanted to make a quick plug for a good friend of mine   .... he has a Kickstarter campaign going for his full color sketchbook "Comic Relief: The art of Chris Copeland".  He is already reached his funding goal, but he is just inches from his first stretch goal and there is only about 9 hours to get there. It would be really cool if you guys could go pledge a little something!

The pageview ticker on my dA page hit 250,000 sometime yesterday.  And while I don't think this metric, in of itself, is really all that important, I think it does mark something more important... all of you.

10 years ago when I first saw dA, I admit I had judged the site by its cover.  It seemed like a small site that served niche market.  One that didn't seem to be in the realm of my kinda work. 3 years or so, I tried to ignore it.  But eventually I was sucked in and got an account.  It ended up being one of my best decisions ever.

I cannot explain to you guys what the community here has been to my life.  Its grown my career, given me lifelong friends, an incredible support system and unequaled inspiration.  The talent, the passion, the patronage... its been nothing short of incredible.  

So I thought that this would be a good time to thank everyone who has been supportive of this process, faved my work, watched me, visited, commented, cheerleaded when I was down, forgave my mistakes ( or lack of reply )  and even commissioned me ( which by the way bridged some scary spots early in the career), you have all done more than I could express or try to return.  So... with my heart in hand ....
